And soo, today I'm gonna post their conversation about it here:~

This is the Question:
Something just came up in my mind :we already know that Kaname isn't really Yuuki's brother, he said it himself and revealed to Ichijou that he was the Kuran ancestor, right ?That means that he was at the origin of the Kuran lineage, right ?So, that means that Kaname had a wife, most probably a pureblood (???!!!!) and had kids ???? (Haruka and Juuri's grandparents). If he had a wife a long long time ago, what happened to her ????? (and now, he seems so in love with Yuuki, her granddaughter or something like that... I feel sad for the late wife, I hope he didn't kill her and that wasn't the reason why he was put into slumber )What do you think about it ?? That Kuran's ancestor thing is quite fishy, I hope we'll learn more about it in the newt arc that's begun...

From those things, we can think up a lot of theories.A somewhat common theory is that this ancestor that was eaten might have been Kaname's wife, Yuuki's previous incarnation. She died, and he was so distraught that he didn't have the will to stay alone for eternity. He went into his age-long slumber instead, heartbroken and also disappointed in the vampire society. (See chapter 43, where he says that he found himself slowly sinking into a pit of despair back when he was the ancestor. The slumber came after that, probably by his own choice.)For thousands of years, he slept, until Rido awakened him for revenge against Rido & Juri, for Juri not loving him.What Rido didn't count on, however, was fate. (Or a pureblood's spirit being able to influence those things maybe, if it's not fate. XD) Because shortly afterwards, the person Kaname had waited for all those thousands of years, was reincarnated, as Yuuki. (This is just a theory.)Wouldn't it make a lot of sense? :3 (And the whole "are you going to leave me alone again?" makes more sense then too, since 10 years ago it wasn't her choice to do so, but if she got herself killed thousands of years ago, leaving him alone, then it makes lots of sense.)Of course, like I said, this is just a theory.
